How to Add Your First Branch

Recommended for: Owners and admins Time to complete: 10 to 15 minutes

A branch is the operating location that takes orders, has opening hours, and connects to devices, printers, and fulfilment settings.

When to Add a Branch

Add a branch when you:

  • open your first trading location

  • need separate opening hours for a location

  • want orders and devices linked to a specific site

Information to Prepare

Before you start, collect:

  • branch name

  • branch address

  • branch phone number

  • fulfilment types offered there, such as collection or delivery

  • opening hours

Steps

  1. Open the business dashboard and go to the branch management area.

  2. Select the option to create a new branch.

  3. Enter the branch name exactly as you want staff to recognise it.

  4. Add the address and customer-facing contact details.

  5. Save the branch.

  6. Review the branch settings and make sure the branch is active.

  7. Add opening hours before sending orders to that branch.

Best Practice

  • Keep the branch name simple, such as City Centre or Leeds North.

  • Use the local phone number customers should call for that branch.

  • If you are multi-site, create each branch separately instead of sharing one branch across locations.

What Happens Next

After the branch exists, you can:

  • assign staff to it

  • register EPOS devices for it

  • set branch opening hours

  • configure printers

  • control fulfilment and order routing
