How to Configure Delivery Zones or Service Areas

Delivery zones or service areas help you accept delivery orders only where your branch can realistically serve customers.

Before You Start

Decide:

  • which branch you are configuring

  • the area that branch can cover

  • whether there are any postcodes or regions you want to exclude

Steps

  1. Open the branch settings in the dashboard.

  2. Go to the delivery zone or service area section.

  3. Add the area the branch can serve.

  4. Save the changes.

  5. Test a few delivery addresses to confirm the setup behaves as expected.

  • Start smaller if you are unsure, then expand later.

  • Match service areas to your staffing and delivery capacity.

  • Review zones whenever traffic, staffing, or delivery demand changes.

Common Mistakes

  • making the delivery area too large for the branch to handle
