Kitchen printers help the back-of-house team receive order information quickly and consistently.
Before You Start
Prepare:
the branch where the printer will be used
the printer connection type, such as network, Bluetooth, built-in, or USB
the device that will send print jobs
paper loaded and printer powered on
Setup Steps
Place the printer where the team will actually use it.
Connect the printer using the supported connection method for that branch setup.
Open the printer settings in your dashboard or EPOS setup flow.
Add the printer and choose Receipt as the printer type.
Save the configuration.
Print a test receipt.
What to Check on the Test Print
text is readable
the printer is the correct one
the receipt prints only once unless extra copies are intended
the print arrives quickly after the test is sent
Good Practice
Use clear names such as Front Counter Receipt Printer.
Keep one printer per purpose where possible.
Re-test after moving networks, replacing hardware, or changing devices.
If Printing Does Not Work
Check:
power and paper
the selected printer type
network or Bluetooth connection
whether the printer was added to the correct branch
