Recommended for: Owners, admins, managers, and staff Time to complete: 5 minutes to learn

Incoming orders should be checked quickly and updated consistently so the whole team knows what is happening.

Where Orders Appear

Orders are typically managed from the dashboard or EPOS order screens. Staff should only work in the branch they are assigned to.

Daily Workflow

1. Watch for new orders

  • Keep the orders screen open during service

  • Check new orders as they arrive

  • Confirm the branch and fulfilment type before acting

2. Review order details

Check:

  • customer name

  • items and quantities

  • notes or special requests

  • fulfilment method

  • payment status if shown

3. Update the order status

Move the order through the correct status stages as work is completed.

Good Team Habits

  • Use consistent status updates so front-of-house and kitchen stay aligned.

  • If something cannot be fulfilled, communicate early and update the order accordingly.

If Something Looks Wrong

Before changing or cancelling anything, check:

  • the branch

  • the fulfilment type

  • the item list
