Changing a user's role affects what they can see and do. Review the impact before saving any role change.
Before You Change a Role
Ask:
does this person need more access, or just different branch assignment?
will the change affect billing, staffing, or menu permissions?
is Admin enough, or is Owner being used too freely?
Good Role Change Rules
use the lowest role that still fits the job
avoid unnecessary owner access
review branch assignment as well as role
make changes outside busy service periods where possible
After You Save
Check:
the user can access what they need
the user can no longer access what they should not
no critical owner-only responsibilities were left without coverage
