How to Control Online Ordering Availability

Recommended for: Owners, admins, and managers Time to complete: 5 to 10 minutes

Online ordering availability controls whether customers can place orders through your website.

Use This When You Need To

  • turn ordering on before opening

  • pause ordering during a service issue

  • stop orders when the branch is closed

  • re-enable ordering after downtime

Steps

  1. Open the dashboard and choose the branch you want to update.

  2. Go to the online ordering or branch availability settings.

  3. Turn online ordering on or off as needed.

  4. Save the change.

  5. Check the live website to confirm the change is visible.

Before Turning Ordering On

Check:

  • the branch is open

  • the menu is ready

  • collection or delivery options are correct

  • the team is ready to receive orders

Before Turning Ordering Off

Check:

  • whether there are active orders still being fulfilled

  • whether the issue affects one branch or all branches

  • whether the team needs a temporary pause or a full shutdown

Good Practice

  • Use this control for real operational changes, not as a substitute for fixing incorrect hours.

  • Review website availability after any major branch or fulfilment change.
