Why Can I Not See a Menu Item on the Website or EPOS?

If a menu item is missing, the item is usually inactive, assigned incorrectly, or not visible in the current branch or ordering context.

Check These First

  • is the item active?

  • is it in the correct category?

  • is the right branch selected?

  • is online ordering enabled if you are checking the website?

Common Causes

  • the item was saved as inactive

  • the item is linked to the wrong category

  • the menu update has not been reviewed in the right branch context

  • the fulfilment or availability setup is blocking what customers can see

What to Do

  1. Open the menu item.

  2. Review its active status.

  3. Review its category placement.

  4. Confirm the branch and ordering setup.

  5. Test again from the correct customer or staff flow.
